Act I: Opening
Open what you thought was closed
Some minds arrive in the world with their windows shut. Not out of fear, but habit. Imagination is not trained: it is freed. And freeing it begins with a small, almost imperceptible gesture: ceasing to judge what arises. Every thought you censor is a universe you will never inhabit. Accept what appears. Observe it. Let it breathe. The horizon does not expand by looking further away — it expands by learning to see what is already here.
Act II: Immersion
Let it inhabit you
Passion is not a mood. It is a silent discipline. What obsesses you is telling you something about who you are when no one is watching. Do not ignore it. Feed it. A mind that allows itself to desire without restrictions builds worlds that reason alone could never conceive. It is not about working more, or knowing more. It is about daring to want more — with all the intensity that implies. Curiosity does not ask permission. Neither should you.
Act III: Form
Before the name, the experience
Words arrive late. Always. Before you can name something, you have already felt it — in your skin, in your breath, in that space between one second and the next. Learn to live there. Inhabit what has not yet happened as if it were already a memory: with the clarity of what was lived, with the warmth of what is missed. Mystery is not an absence. It is the most honest form of presence. And when the words finally come, you will no longer need them to explain anything. Only to remember.

The photographs and videos are very recent; we captured them between February and March of 2026 at the CaixaForum in Barcelona. We started in the entrance courtyard — designed with incredible minimalism by Arata Isozaki — which fits perfectly with the black and white aesthetic of my website. Then we went up to the modernist rooftop, at the very top... have you ever visited? It is a special corner.
The music accompanying the videos (yes, they have sound — remember to turn it on!) is a selection designed to accompany those calm moments we love so much. The first video features Víkingur Ólafsson performing the Andante from the Sonata para órgano n.º 4, BWV 528, by Bach, in a piano transcription. The second is a beautiful 'recomposition' of the Sarabanda from the first cello suite by Bach, by Peter Gregson. And to close, the last video features in the background the Intermezzo op. 117 n.º 1 by Brahms, in that exceptional interpretation by Radu Lupu.
Having confessed (almost) everything, I allow myself one indulgence: what else would you like to enjoy...?
